Terms of Sale (Legal Information)

By placing an order you accept in full the terms
of sale listed herein.
- There's a 7 to 10 days' wait for products that are not
in stock (25 days for chandeliers). This will be reported
to buyer (you) at the time of the order. If this poses
a problem, let us know. [Every year in August, part of
our staff is off, so consider there could be some delays
in deliveries during this period.] Murano glass vases
and sculptures that are not in stock are usually shipped
14 days after order date. In general, delivery dates are
approximate, and La Fondazione accepts no liability if
delays should occour in the execution of orders.
- Measurments and color of each product may vary slightly
from models shown.
- [Masks] Decorative fabrics may vary in pattern or color
from models shown.
- Custom-made products are created only after receipt
of at least 20% of sale price. (This down payment shall
be deemed forfeited if the order is canceled later than
20 calendar days after receipt of said payment.)
- Grand total calculations of orders may vary slightlly
due to currency exchange rate fluctuations (the dollar-euro
exchange rate used in our site reflects the daily rate
of the European Central Bank).
- Shipping and Handling Fee may vary slightly from the
one shown in your order according to your required packaging.
Final fee shall be reported to you prior to fulfilling
your order.
- In case of damaged shipments, you shall be responsible
for filing any claimes against the carrier. The carrier
should be notified of any damage at the moment of delivery.
To obtain refunds on insured deliveries, you should comply
scrupulously with all the procedures and regulations specified
by carrier. The goods in question must be retained and
made available for inspection if required (packaging material
included).
- Vat is not included on prices shown on the site. Remember
that Vat will be applied to shipping costs too. Italian
Vat is 20%. Free VAT tax prices for Extra CEE costumers.
For CEE customers owner of a company, we suggest to write
in the note field the VAT number.
- Though all care is taken to protect shipped products,
La Fondazione declines any liability for damages that
might be caused during shipping (insurance is a recommended
option). For glass and jewelry products we provide only
EX WORKS option (using the buyer's shipping account).
- Shipping of orders will take place only after receipt
of full payment.
